Britain's Most Admired Companies 2020 winners

January 2021

PIVOTING AND PUTTING PEOPLE FIRST

2020 will be remembered for many unfortunate reasons. As COVID-19 spread through a largely unprepared world, the consequences have impacted individuals, businesses, government and society as a whole.  BREXIT came and happened, with relatively little attention – at the time.

It was through this lens that we turned again to 300 C-suite executives and financial analysts to share their views of Britain’s leading organisations and how they were seen to be managing and/or resetting.

Where corporate reputations were seen to do well, and better than others, praise was given for speed, agility, adaptability and ‘maintaining a human touch, putting people first’.  This was the year of the online providers (for which we added an entirely new sector), of the healthcare specialists, and of all those keeping us all going (or not).

See this year’s findings from the longest-running and best-established corporate reputation study in the UK, Britain’s Most Admired Companies from Echo Research. Published in Management Today, this year’s study acknowledges British success in super quick transformational leadership and resilient team work to pivot and deliver success. Congratulations to the 2020 outstanding winners, new entrants and impressive leaders, on the right.
